Big Picture: Sports are a fantastic experience for kids to learn about teamwork, character, competition, success, and even failure. Sports, however, are only one aspect of life, but sports can sometimes dominate the lives of kids and families. ESO was started to help families find better rhythms while still being able to partipcate in youth sports. Purpose: Eastland Sports Organization (ESO) is a faith-based non-profit that strives to teach the fundamentals of sports and foster healthy competition in a positive environment.Structure: ESO is now governed by a new board of directors made of nine indivduals, and led by a full-time director who is responsible for running the various leages ESO offers.
